Verification Limits

• The forms are the authority. The ISDA, EEI, and NAESB documents are published proprietary forms; this gazetteer describes their commonly known architecture and market practice around them, not their verbatim text. The executed documents — form, vintage, elections, and amendments — control every question.
• Vintages and elections vary. Statements about cure periods, valuation methods, netting, and credit mechanics describe the published forms' general design; a given relationship's schedule, cover sheet, or special provisions may change any of them.
• Bankruptcy safe harbors are summarized at teaching altitude. Qualification is contract-by-contract and counterparty-by-counterparty, and the case law moves; nothing here substitutes for bankruptcy counsel on a live filing.
• Market conventions are conventions. Descriptions of confirm-desk practice, collateral mechanics, and close-out discipline reflect common practice as of the August 2026 baseline, not the terms of any particular relationship.
• Dated revision entries summarize instruments. Each ⟳ entry links a change to its source, but the summary is not the instrument — read the supplement, protocol, or statute before acting on it.
